Temptingly Tart Frosted Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. party rainbow chip cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (16-oz.) can vanilla frosting
  • 1 (0.15-oz.) envelope any flavor unsweetened soft drink mix
  • 3 (0.33-oz.) pkgs. any flavor popping candy

Instructions

    Prepare cake mix as directed on package for 24 cupcakes, using water, oil and eggs. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool 20 minutes or until completely cooled.

    In small bowl, combine frosting and drink mix; stir until completely blended and no streaks remain. Frost cooled cupcakes. Sprinkle with popping candy.
