For your next sweat treat, keep things simple and enjoy a batch of classic cookies like this recipe for soft sugar cookies with icing. We made a few tweaks to the already delicious Pillsbury™ sugar cookie dough by adding an egg yolk and a little extra flour. The result makes these sugar cookies softer and lighter than the original recipe! These soft cookies pair deliciously with our easy recipe for homemade frosting and don’t require any rolling or shaping, just drop the dough and bake. It’s easy to make these cookies your own with the help of your favorite little bakers. Add some extra pizazz by adding food coloring to the frosting, colorful sprinkles, drizzle a little chocolate or just keep them sweet and simple without any extras.
